I'm not a reviewer. No company sends me free stuff to test. I'm just a nearly seventy year old radio fanatic with RF flowing through my veins and a head still half stuck in the analog days of twisty turnies and slide rule tuning. I don't find many modern radios to be satisfactory. And at this moment I cannot know that my TR110 will be sufficient of durability. But I have no reason to think it will not. What I know at the moment is a preliminary judgement of it's capabilities. I like it. It's AM broadcast reception is probably not it's strongest performance. But then I live in a lowlands area surrounded by much higher ground. I have one of those small AM antennas intended for the Tecsun 360, and find that my TR 110 does pretty well. On FM broadcast it's nearly spectacular. As I live within the USA LW is always less than useful. But SW ability is quite high and it plays well with a random wire clipped to it's extendable rod antenna. WX couldn't be better. It's ability to grab local NFM emergency channels is much better than okay, and I find that it's squelch works just fine. It will sit there silently until someone opens up a channel then the little radio talks with squelch gate so fast that I miss nothing. I haven't used each of it's functions yet. Still learning things like key press sequences. But I'll figure out that stuff. Sound is nice; louder than I'd expected, and without the booming faux mid ass so often produced by other brands. And smart charging. I like.

The radio in itself is quite awesome, being a pocket portable all band with SSB. Then, if you need need help with with something, the support team is there to take care of you! Quite happy with my purchase.

I am fairly new to shortwave radio and I must say that this is one packed radio! It's perfect to keep in an emergency kit, but it's also fun to listen in on what's happening around the world. I like that it has the WX and air bands in addition to MW/FM/SW/SSB. The unit has sleep timer and alarm functions, as well. (It also has CB/VHF/UHF, but I have yet to pull in anything on those bands.) A hanging rope antenna is included, along with the rechargeable battery, carrying pouch, earbuds, wrist strap; and I'm glad to see a USB-C charging cable. The user manual is very detailed, although the print is quite small. Reception is pretty darn good for such a small profile. The Step function is also nice to have to allow fine tuning of frequencies. The only negative I have so far is that when using earbuds, an annoying popping noise occurs when changing bands. This is not evident when NOT using the earbuds. Overall, this is a great little radio. It offers a lot and the price is affordable. I highly recommend it to the SW radio enthusiast and general radio listeners as an addition to your radio collection.
