Frequently Asked Questions About The TD183 Paging System

We have sorted out some operational problems that are often encountered when using the TD183 paging system for your reference, and hope this information can help you operate the TD183 paging system smoothly.

1. How to pair/set pager ID?

Pager ID Setting

Put all pagers on the charging base, then connect the charger to the power source. Since the pager enters the charging mode, complete the following steps in 20s to enter ID pairing mode: Press P button and enter number 999, P999 shows on the display , then press Call button. In the paring mode, all pages' ID numbers flash on LED display. Enter the desired ID number and press Call button, all pages ID change to the same ID number. Remove the top pager from the charging base, the pager will beep and stop flashing. It means the pager ID is set successfully. Then repeat the same steps to program other pagers.

Note: If there is no operation within 1 minute after entering the pairing mode, the pagers will exit the ID pairing mode.

Each pager can only set one ID number, the new ID number will cover the old one if you reprogram it.

2. How to set reminder mode?

Press Mute button and enter number 999, S999 shows on the screen at the same time, then press Call button, all charging pages change to Mute mode. The pages only vibrate and flash when being called.

Press Mute button and enter number 000, S000 shows on the screen, then press Call button, all charging pages change to normal mode. The pages beep, vibrate and flash when being called.

3. How to shut down with one key?

In Call mode, enter number 999 and press Call button, all charging pages will be powered off. Then remove the charger from the power source to power off the keypad.

Note: The instruction is invalid for the pagers that are not being charged or paired with the keypad.
